    How the Calculation Works

    The peptide dosage formula converts your desired micogram dose into a practical syringe volume in three steps.

    Step 1 — Concentration
    Concentration (mcg/ml) = (Vial mg × 1000) ÷ BAC Water (ml)
    Step 2 — Volume in ml
    Volume (ml) = Desired Dose (mcg) ÷ Concentration (mcg/ml)
    Step 3 — Syringe Units (IU)
    IU = Volume (ml) × 100 ← U-100 syringe scale

    Worked Example

    5 mg vial + 2 ml BAC water + 250 mcg dose:

    Concentration(5 × 1000) ÷ 22,500 mcg/ml

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Enter three values: your vial's total peptide in mg, the volume of BAC water you added in ml, and your desired dose in mcg. Hit Calculate and you'll see the exact IU to draw on a standard U-100 insulin syringe, plus an animated syringe diagram showing the fill level.
    IU refers to the unit markings on a U-100 syringe where 100 IU = 1 ml. Each mark = 0.01 ml. So 10 IU = 0.10 ml, 50 IU = 0.50 ml, etc. This calculator uses U-100 scale. If using a different syringe, use the ml result directly.
    Exactly 1,000 mcg in 1 mg. A 5 mg vial contains 5,000 mcg of peptide. This calculator handles the conversion automatically — just enter the vial label value in mg.
    A U-100 syringe holds 100 IU (1 ml) maximum. If your result exceeds 100 IU, your solution is too dilute for the dose — use less BAC water when reconstituting to increase concentration, or use a larger syringe. Our BAC Water Calculator helps you optimize this.
    No. Adding more or less BAC water changes the concentration and your draw volume, but the total peptide mass in the vial stays the same. Concentration only affects how many ml or IU you draw per dose.
